What is Baked Chicken Cutlet?

Baked chicken cutlets are a variation on the commonly lightly fried chicken cutlet. This dish is made by lightly breading a thin chicken breast in seasoned breadcrumbs and frying until the outside is crispy and golden and the inside is tender. The baked version is lightly oiled and baked until the outside has the same texture and the inside is tender. This version is a lot less greasy. The flavor is salty and umami.
